Tarpan Application Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Tarpan (hereinafter "the Application"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and with whom we share it in connection with your use of our Application. Our Application allows users to create training plans which can then be sent to the Garmin Connect™ platform.

By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

At Tarpan, we collect the minimum information necessary for the Application to function and to provide our services. The information we may collect includes:

• User-Generated Data: This primarily consists of the training plans you create within the Application, including their structure, individual segments, notes, and other parameters you define (e.g., "1J + 4x(3M + 2E)").
• Garmin Account Information (optional, if required for integration): If you choose to connect Tarpan with your Garmin Connect account to upload training plans, we may process authorization tokens or other identifiers necessary to perform this function. We do not store your Garmin Connect password.
• Technical Data (automatically): We may collect limited technical data about your device and how you use the Application (e.g., device type, operating system version, anonymous usage statistics, error reports) to improve the Application and ensure its stability. This data is typically anonymous or aggregated.

We do not actively collect or request access to your physical activity data (e.g., heart rate, GPS from completed workouts, step counts) stored in your Garmin account. Our Application focuses on creating and sending training plans *to* Garmin.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To enable you to create, edit, and manage your training plans within the Application.
• To transmit your created training plans to your Garmin Connect account at your request.
• To provide technical support and respond to your inquiries.
• To monitor and analyze the use of the Application in order to improve it, develop new features, and ensure security (e.g., through anonymous analytical data).

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Garmin: When you choose to send a training plan to Garmin Connect, the data for that plan will be sent to Garmin. From that point on, this data is subject to the Garmin Connect Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review Garmin's privacy policy.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with a legal obligation; (b) protect and defend our rights or property; (c) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Application; or (d) protect the personal safety of users of the Application or the public.
• Service Providers (if applicable): [If you use third-party services for hosting, analytics, etc., list them here and describe how they protect data. If not, you can remove this point or state that you do not use any.] E.g., "We may employ trusted third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Application ("Service Providers"), to provide the Application on our behalf, to perform Application-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Application is used. 5. Data Security

We value the security of your information. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect the data stored and processed by Tarpan from unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or destruction. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your training plans created in the Application [Choose and customize one of the options or write your own: Option 1: as long as you use the Application and do not delete them. Option 2: only temporarily, until they are successfully uploaded to Garmin Connect, after which they are deleted from our systems. Option 3: for a period of [SPECIFY TIME], after which they are automatically deleted unless you actively use them or choose to keep them.]. You can delete your training plans from the Application at any time using its built-in features.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to

• Access your training plans stored in the Application.
• Correct or update your training plans in the Application.
• Delete your training plans from the Application.

Please note that after data is sent to Garmin Connect, managing that data (including its deletion) on the Garmin platform is subject to the policies and features offered by Garmin.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Application is not intended for children under the age of 16 (or other age as determined by local law). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under this age. 9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and/or through an in-Application notification. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
